Unfortunately discrimination plays a great role in society. From wikipedia.org I found a pretty good definition

of the meaning: "To discriminate is to make a distinction between people on the basis of class or category without regard to individual merit. Discrimination is apparent in many places to day; whether it be work, school, public gatherings, or even in private lives at home it is something that affects us all.
